Do I need to have the Approved Council Plans in order to sell my house?

Yes.

When is it necessary to submit a Building Plans Application to Council?

Before you begin construction of any changes to the original building!

Once Council has approved your application, you will receive a Building Permit in order to start construction.

Do I need to appoint an Architect & an Engineer to submit Building Plans?

Yes.

Plans require sign-off from a SACAP-accredited Professional within the Architecture field.

Engineers sign off on the structural aspects of the building, including pools.
